3 Chais You Must Try Before Monsoon Ends

The weather is still pleasant in the evenings and on those lucky days when it pours, aah, all you want is a chai ka pyala! Being the chai-addicts that we are, we found these amazing varieties of tea you CANNOT miss to try.

Just look at that!

Shahi Chai @ Chaayos

Creamy, sugary and generously loaded with dry fruits! The thick consistency (because of the condensed milk) might confuse you to have it with a spoon like a dessert (idea bura nahi hai waise)! This royal one comes in a kulhad and is garnished with chopped almonds and saffron threads. Have it while hot to savour the taste to its best.

Doesn’t it look like coffee?

Dum Chai @ Chai Point

Strong and flavourful is what describes this one the best. Thoda gyaanDum Pukht tea is known to be brewed in a copper vessel overnight to bring out the flavour, and is a bit strong to taste. What they do here at Chai Point is, serve it with milk froth, making it look like filter coffee with foam and, trust us, it is worth having!

You cannot miss this at any cost. The original masala tea with the right spices – Ginger, Black Pepper, Cardamom, Piper Longum, Clove, Nutmeg and Cinnamon (yes all seven of them!)- as authentic as you can imagine! It’s the one that holds true to the saying – chai pi lo sab theek ho jayega.  One sip and aal iz well.
