Thank God we chanced on this cute, cosy one when we wanted to quickly have a bite driving around in Rohini. Cafe Muzino, situated on the first floor of Garg Trade Centre was one good find.
Having a seating of about 40 people (they have an outdoor seating section too), you can see a lot of wooden work here. The graffiti on the walls adds a bit of candour, while the staff is extremely polite, trying to make your visit as pleasant as possible. Here’s a quick sneak into the cafe:
Since we wanted something quick, we ordered for a cup of Cappuccino, some Crispy Noodle Soup and Hara Kebab Poha Crusted. First came the Crispy Noodle Soup, which was a tad spicy (not that we minded that), but really well made. Just the right amount of veggies and herbs, with some fried noodles sprinkled over to add a dishy effect.
Next, we tried the Hara Kebab Poha Crusted, which was another delight. These melt-in-the-mouth, spicy spinach patties stuffed with hung curd and coated with with poha (rice flakes) were a literal treat. Healthy snacks that spoil you more, with just the right amount of cooking. The green chutney it was served was the cherry on the cake, it was just so finger-licking (which we did actually, licked it with our fingers at the cost of being thought of as total dehaatis).
We teamed the yummy kebabs with our piping hot cup of Cappuchino, which was just like mom’s version on a day you need it the most. Frothed well, with just the right amount of coffee. Every sip felt so good with the snacks, damn, we miss it.
Some Gyaan: Cafe Muzino is less than six month’s old, and is popular locally for kitty parties and birthday celebrations. We recommend you visit in the evening and enjoy the outdoor seating!
